220 years ago, Glacier Bay was a great ice field. Today ice has receded nearly 70 miles, leaving an awesome spectacle to behold! Nearly 220 species of birds and a wide variety of wildlife such as brown (grizzly) and black bear, Sitka black-tailed deer, wolf, mountain goat and moose may also be seen. As Alaska Licensed Registered Guides our family has conducted fishing and exploration cruises throughout Southeast Alaska and Glacier Bay for more than three decades.
