We will be fishing Halibut that can
weigh over 400 lbs! Tidal changes of up to 25' insure great action.
Fishing will begin at 8am until 4pm (8hrs). All saltwater gear and bait
will be provided.
We use Penn Senator II reels with 80 lb. spider
wire and 80 lb. mono backing for that monster Halibut. Fishing depth
ranges from 30 to 150 feet depending on where the fish are. Fish fillets
vacuum packed and frozen by local vendor at competitive prices to take
home with you.
Accommodations/Airline Transportation
First Class lodging
includes: deluxe room, 3 hearty meals, and all transportation to and from
Gustavus, dock, airport, and lodge. You will be met upon arrival into
Glacier Bay (Gustavus). Arrival at 5pm on daily Alaska Airlines jet
service direct from Seattle with short stop in Juneau (No air charter
required). Same day arrival from any point in the US. 6pm evening
departure back to Seattle on last day. No overnight or extra cost except
air transportation to Glacier Bay.
As a lodging option,
our custum designed 78' yacht Alaskan Grandeur can also serve
