place in the Icy Straits, Glacier Bay, and Cross Sound areas of Northern
Southeast Alaska, one of Alaska’s highest concentrations of Halibut and
Salmon. All five species of Salmon: King (Chinook), Coho (Silver), Chum
(Dog), Sockeye (Red), and Pink (Humpy) are available in season. An
abundant array of Rockfish and other species can also be caught. Tidal
changes of up to 25' ensure great action. Fishing will begin at 8am until
4pm (8hrs). All saltwater gear and bait will be provided.
We use
Shimano Charter series reels with 25 lb. test monofilament with Shimano
rods. Fish fillets vacuum packed and frozen by recommended local vendor at
competitive prices. Fishing licenses and King Salmon stamps available
aboard vessel.
Fantastic freshwater fly or spin cast fishing for
Salmon, Dolly Varden, and Trout are in pristine freshwater rivers.
Depending on tidal activity and personal preference you can either step
out of the boat and fish or hike along the stream to other spectacular
areas of the system. To ensure familiarity and your style bring your own
freshwater equipment and tackle.
